The "Promo block" integration, offered by Altegio, is a powerful and versatile tool designed to enhance your communication with customers. Whether you're looking to promote special offers, provide reminders, or encourage social media engagement, this tool allows you to capture your audience's attention effectively.
What can it be used for?
1. Highlight special promotions and discounts
2. Remind clients of any essential steps they need to take before their visit
3. Invite clients to connect with you on social media
Important points to note:
- The Promo block integration is available exclusively for the new version of the widget.
- Promotional sections you create will be displayed on all location widgets.
- Each screen can accommodate only one promotional section.
Integration is free for all companies.
Integration setup:
1. Navigate to Altegio and access the "Integrations" > "Loyalty" section.
2. Select the "Promotional section within Online Booking Widget" application.
3. Click the "Connect" button to initiate the integration.
Configuration
Customize your promo block by following these steps:
- Add a concise main text (limited to 50 characters) to inform clients about your promotion or discount.
- Include an image and a detailed description to enhance your message. You can also lead your clients to a specific webpage using a button.
- Ensure that the image file size does not exceed 12 MB, and the recommended image size is 750 x 308 pixels. The maximum character limit for the description is 220, and the button text with a link can contain up to 20 characters.
- Choose where you want to display the promo block on the online booking form. Options include the menu screen, service selection, employee selection, and successful booking screen. You can select one or multiple placements. If you create multiple promo blocks, only one promo block will be displayed on a single screen.
For short, one-sentence messages, you can create a non-clickable banner by specifying only the title of the promo block without filling in the remaining fields.
If you have promotions with detailed conditions, you can create a clickable promo section. When clients click on it, they will see a pop-up window with a description, image, and a button. Provide a title, description, and image, and add a link to a website, social network, or online booking widget if necessary.
4. Click the "Add" button to save your configuration.
The "Settings" tab allows you to view, edit, and delete your created promotional blocks.
You can add new promo blocks by clicking the "Add promo block" button.
To disable the integration, go to the "Promotional section within Online Booking Widget" application and click the "Disconnect" button.
Additional notes:
- The color of the promo block is based on the main color of your online booking form. You can modify this color by navigating to Online booking > Online booking widget. Open your preferred booking form and adjust the design in the "Design" tab. Read more here.
- For tracking the effectiveness of your promotions, consider connecting analytics tools like Google Analytics. Add a target with the identifier "clicked_promo_link" to your connected counter to monitor clicks on your promotions.
- To enable the integration, make sure that the employee has the necessary access rights to manage user rights and edit online bookings.
