Work schedule (Staff)

Work schedule (Staff)

After filling out sections with Information, Additional information and Settings and assigning Services you can set up a work schedule for your employee.

There are several ways to set schedule for staff:

  1. in the Settings — Main settings —Work Schedule section
  2. in the Settings — Main settings — Staff section
  3. in the Appointment Calendar

In this article we will be looking at the second option.

Editing

1. To set a work schedule for your employees go to the Settings — Main settings — Staff section.

2. Select an employee by either clicking their name or by clicking the Day schedule button. Configure the schedule in the Schedule tab.

3. There are three ways to configure it here: by using autofill template, by manually editing the schedule, and by copying the schedule for the weeks ahead.

Autofill template

Used to set schedules for employees who work in shifts.

1. In the Schedule section select the desired work schedule, e.g., 2 workdays and 2 days off.

2. In the Starting section select the start date for the schedule. You can also select the week you want to start setting the schedule from in the calendar on the left.

3. In the Working hours section specify the start and end time of the workday for the employee.

4. In the Set for section specify the number of weeks you want to copy this schedule for.

5. Click the Save and fill schedule button once you’re done.

Manual editing

In this way you can configure any schedule, even the most complex and irregular one. This method is not suitable for setting the schedule of employees whose workday is from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In the table headed Schedule mark staff member’s working hours using circles: click the square at the intersection of the line of the day of the week and the column of an hour to place a gray circle in it. Click the Save button.

Copying the schedule for the weeks ahead

This option allows you to copy the schedule of the current week to the future ones. For example, if you already set work days for the employee on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., then these same working days will be copied to future weeks.

Deleting the schedule

This allows you to delete all working hours for the week selected.
