Resources are reserved automatically for an appointment at the moment of booking only if they are assigned to the relevant services.
To assign services to resources, you can do it in two ways.
Firstly, you can create a resource in the Resources section and assign services to it there. Secondly, you can go to the Services section in the main menu by navigating to Settings > Main settings > Services, selecting a service category, and then clicking either the name of the service or the Edit button in the line of a service you want to assign resources to.
In the new window, click on the Resources tab, and then click on the Add resources button to assign resources to the service.
Select the required resources by clicking on their names. You can add multiple resources at once. Click the Save button to assign the selected resources to the service.
To remove a resource from a service, click the cross button next to that resource, and then click Save to update the changes.
Attaching services through resource settings
1. To attach services to a resource, navigate to Settings > Main settings > Resources and click the Edit button next to the resource you want to modify.
2. In the Services field, select the desired service from the list or search for it by name. Click Save to add the service to the resource.
3. To add additional services, simply click on the service selection field again and select the service you want to add.
4. If you need to remove a service from a resource, click on the cross button next to its name and then click Save. The service will be detached from the resource.
When your client books their appointment online for a service that has resources assigned to it, a single unoccupied instance of each resource will be reserved automatically.
