When the widgets are added, configure the booking steps.
What is it and what is it for?
Booking steps are a sequence of actions that a client will perform when booking online. For example, first, they will need to choose the date and time of the appointment, and then the service and employee.
Here you can configure the booking format (step by step or menu), set default value for some steps (for example, select a specific date for booking), and also configure the display of locations (list or map) in the chain booking form.
Settings
Go to Online booking section select the required online booking link, click its name or use the Set up button.
In the new window that opens, locate the Booking format tab, make the necessary settings, and click the Save button.
1. Select booking format:
Menu – If this setting is chosen, the client will be able to select employees, services and time in any order convenient. Set the sequence of steps. To do this, click the button to the left of the step name and drag the line to the desired location. This sequence is displayed in the online booking widget.
2. Each step can be configured. To edit information within each step, click on the downward arrow located on the right to the step name. In the newly opened window make configuration changes.
Click the Save button to apply your changes.
Available settings:
• Date and time selection: Here you can change the title of the step that will be visible to your clients when booking online.
• Employee selection: Here you can change the title of the step that will be visible to your clients when booking online. You can assign a pre–selected employee. If you choose a specific employee in this field then this employee will be pre-selected as default for online booking. Clients will instantly schedule appointments with them, yet they have the option to change their selection if needed.
• Employee's position or specialization: Here you can choose either to display your specialist's position or specialization when booking online.
• Service selection: Here you can create a title name for your service selection step. Furthermore, you can choose a pre–selected service meaning that particular service will be pre-selected as default for online booking. Clients will instantly sign up for it, yet they have the option to change their selection if needed.
